Amazon Customer –
Great item. I do like the Lenovo Brand, especially the Chromebook, Does everything I need
Sidney –
I went for a chromebook as I only really need it for managing documents from work, transferring and handling files whenever and wherever. It’s perfect for those who want something for basic needs without too much to think about. It’s lightweight and compact so you can carry it with you, it’s cheap compared to laptops or desktops, does it’s job well. It has google, youtube and you can also download apps from the web store or google store or something. Great value for money. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today

Great little machine – used straight out of the box. I use it for web browsing, emails, you tube, netflix etc etc and this is a perfect size and weight – and a great price at £150. Very fast. I have been a very happy chromebook user for some years now – ending my frustration with windows laptops (cost, software, weight, crashes, updates, slowing down etc). The screen quality is not as sharp as more expensive kit but more than adaquate for me. I needed to change as Google are ending support for my old chromebook – something buyers new to chromebooks need to check out – I think you can expect 3-5 years on new models.
Anne Marie Ransome –
I use mine for work and pleasure great buy just like using my Google phone, and memory is great too
Chris –
Bought as a Christmas present for my partner. She loves it.
Mr William Allan –
Has a great screen resolution for what I need it for, a long battery life. Replacing my aging tablet, don’t need a touch screen.
Amazon Customer –
Video/Google search/email it works and didn’t cost a fortune

Gread ChromeBook, been using all day I am a Chrome user/fan so the system is not an issue for me (hate Windows), I love the simplicity that I log on/in & all my details are here ready to go, built in security protection which has made me wonder in the past is it even on as I never had any issues but a few months back I had a warning about a highly risky site so didn’t visit it in the end this was the first time but was good to know that yes it is running in the background as advertised. This Chrome book is super sleek, responsive track pad, superb keys very well spaced and feel lovely to type on, the screen is good, the speakers are cool, the camera is fine for Zoom meetings, I have had on all day with just the initial charge and only 21% of the battery has been used, I personally use my laptop for surfing the net and online courses, I type often on mine, some printing, some photo viewing, all these simple tasks are NO issue for ChromeBooks they are brilliant, I do have the play store but honestly have no interest I use my phone for games. I love the Chrome store of backgrounds and themes all free. Great laptop for brill price, very speedy I am impressed and very happy.

It’s only £120 so I was prepared to be disappointed. But….what a pleasant surprise. . I’m not a ‘heavy’ usage user, and it does everything I need without lagging. It’s just a shame there’s not a cellular version. Apart from that it’s a great little laptop. 10/10.
Clare Waggott –

It took me a while to realise the charms of this little laptop. I didn’t think much of this when I bought it, at a discount, as a spare laptop for travel – screen not great, keyboard felt a bit hard compared to my macbook air, and lets be clear, not the most powerful machine ever. Then the macbook died and I was forced into using it. Well what a revelation – the battery life is fantastic, it powers on instantly, it is super light, and not an expensive machine so you don’t worry so much about chucking it in a bag on the go. Once I got used to chromeos and using mostly online software I began to love this wee machine and I don’t worry about it failing and losing work as almost everything is on the cloud. I was able to get some actual software development work done too using the built in linux container (some python and javascript web development, nothing too challenging but real work none the less) and it worked like a charm – would I want to use it full time? probably not but then again its not too bad when you plug it into a larger screen, and I would now consider a slightly more powerful chromebook as a full time dev machine in the future. All in all a great little laptop if you need to travel, for a backup, or also for students. Recommended.

Bought this on Prime Day for my daughter for school. Chose Lenovo as my track record with their products has always been good. So far, it hasn’t fallen short of my expectations.
Pip –
I only have this Chromebook for a few weeks but I am very happy with it.
Louise Macpherson –
I bought this chromebook for my sons schoolwork. It works very well, sounds good and picture quality is great.

I am leaving this review just to tell you when this Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Chromebook will stop receiving security updates and that is June 2027. You can find this information on your Chromebook in the settings on your device in the additional details under “About Chrome OS.” You can also find all of the Chromebook end of life dates on the Auto Update policy page, just search for “Chromebook AUE” through the Google search engine.Updated this just to say that this was a bargain at £99 and the 4GB ram Chromebook has been a nice improvement on the older 2GB Chromebook that I was using which had slowed down a bit and was frustrating to use when I had a couple of tabs open. I find Chromebooks to be very easy to use. They boot up quite quickly and you’re ready to go once you’ve logged in. Even my mum who is in her mid 60s can use hers with little problem, other than forgetting her passwords every website that she uses!

My second Lenovo chromebook replacing a N22 which although still an excellent device is coming to the end of the OS updates life. This chromebook is an excellent device with a great battery, fast and, like chromebooks, easy to use. None of those frustrations one gets from windows updates. No bloatware just the apps and extensions one requires.

For under £100 for the 64GB model this is really an excellent value for money little laptop. Yes the screen is small, not very bright and the body is made of plastic. My 10 year old is able to use this for homework, download and play android mobile games such as roblox and watch disney+ or prime video. The battery is lasting at least 6 hours. Antivirus and updates until 2027 are included. The parental controls are also very good.

I am disabled, and I find Lenovo easy to use , it’s not heavy so it can go in your lap, great screen, as light or dark as you need it, and very easy to use, plus great value for the money paid,I love mine,
nicola –
Thought was value for money I only needed it so I could transfer my photos of my iPhone to a external drive.
Matt Delahaye –
Took ages looking at specs/screen sizes etc.Nearly went for one that you can take the keyboard off and use as a tablet until I realised you needed to prop the screen open with a stand – so no good if you want it on your lap!My last chromebook lasted years of travelling around, being thrown in a bag and used everywhere. This one feels so well built I’m confident it will do the same.Great size for travelling, using on train/plane.For browsing/watching video/cloud based office tools etc i don’t know why most people would want to buy a more expensive one!(For reference I payed 129 for mine)
