The media could not be loaded.

It’s a name brand you can trust Acer and it’s a very good product it looks amazing and this is on a over 6 years old laptop gives us a split screen to multitask on it comes with a vga and hdmi ports and one hdmi line we love it excellent picture and quality

  2. Carolyn

Perfect size, clear and easy to set up!

  3. kenneth streeter

works great, nice picture easy hookup no complaints

  4. Richard Kramer

This monitor is exactly what I needed. I do not want to huge desktop, but with my bad eyesight I needed a bigger monitor. TY!!!!

  5. Vivian Willow

This monitor is really nice. I needed a second one and I wanted one the same size as my previous one so I got this one since my old one isn’t sold anymore. The picture quality is wonderful and the no-glare is also great. The glare isn’t too bad at all and I game right by a bright window. This monitor is decent for gaming unless you want over 60 FPS. However, I’m content with 60 FPS which is why I was fine getting an inexpensive monitor with a 60 refresh rate. This monitor is huge so if you’re only getting one monitor, this is a good choice.

  6. Mario Martinez Garcia

Great monitor so far. High refresh rate and sharp image. The HDR feature looks beautiful but I have no frame of reference from other monitors but after I upgraded from my previous acer x341ck, this is image looks sharp. I looked at reviews on youtube but you cant really see it unless its physically. The 1900R curve really works, while playing games kinda like a putting a headset, really envelopes the sight. The monitor is very light, much lighter than my previous one. This one has a ton of customizable features and presets. The only complaint I have is that its kind of dull, no colors or leds, my previous acer had customizable color leds that I would use for a dark room setting, working kind of like a lamp, but that is minor. I guess the other thing is that there is an exhaust fan right where I connected the monitor arm, not sure what was the design purpose of that.

  7. RichW

I bought this for our church office. The secretary loves it.

  8. Banacek

The monitor arrived today. I just got it set up and am putting it through the motions. So far I haven’t identified any dead pixels whatsoever. No real edge bleed to speak of. Color balance looks great out of the box as reviews noted. I like that it comes factory calibrated and ships with a print out from the factory. I haven’t seen a need to really tweak things yet, which makes the setup pretty hassle free.It ships with all needed cables. The included DP 1.4 cable is 8k so you won’t need to upgrade that. It comes with an HDMI cable too and a hefty mounting bracket for other applications, .The screen is a nice size. I like the slightly taller height over my 3440×1440. It’s not much, but it is noticeable. I’m coming from a ROG Swift 34. While there’s not much difference in pixel density, the slightly larger screen size is nice. The curve isn’t discernible at normal distance/viewing angle. You’ll have to activate the higher refresh rates within the monitor settings to get up to 175FPS. Also make sure to double check within Windows too when you change to native resolution. Windows also has an HDR setting you can activate which seems to brighten things nicely without blowing out the contrast, etc. This is my first HDR monitor so I’m still evaluating how it looks while gaming. I can already notice a drastic difference from the GSync board on this monitor over my older ROG Swift34. Whether that’s GSync ultimate, or just newer improvements, I can tell the Predator 38S is a lot smoother when gaming. I haven’t yet put it through many test across different titles, but I’m pleased with how things are looking so far in the few games I tried.I’ll adjust my rating/review if things pop up but so far the only negative I’d say is the price. I’ve been eyeballing the non ‘S’ version of this monitor for over a year and it hasn’t budged from $1600 at all, so while $2000 for this monitor stings, I doubt that price is going to shift much on average going forward. Of course I’ll kick myself if it does.

Overall Experience: The picture is more beautiful than a monitor has any right to be. Playing games (especially in HDR) on this thing will make you feel like you’ve been playing games wrong your whole life. This is the nicest thing I own, and I’m not even ashamed of that, nor do I deserve it. If you’re in the market for a high end gaming monitor, buy this one. Full stop.Price vs alternatives (and my biggest dilemma):So let’s get the big thing out of the way early- this thing is expensive. But if you’re in the market for a high end monitor with all the bells and whistles, this is the one. I was biting my nails over whether to go with the (few) 4K monitor that has similar features (true HDR, G-Sync, high refresh rate, low latency) at 27” or to go with this one at lower resolution with a larger/curved screen and I feel really good about making the call to go with this model.First off, I would argue that at less than 32 inches (and possibly bigger), the difference between 4K and 2k is somewhere between negligible and not observable by the human eye. This is debatable, but if you’re on the other side of the fence on this one, just go buy a 4K monitor. Now factor in that the only real competitors to this monitor in terms of features AND available at 4K resolution are only available in 27 inches (at time of writing; bigger options are allegedly coming out and priced at roughly twice the price of this monitor), I think this monitor is an easy win over those options. The immersion in/appreciation of graphics you will get out of the larger and ultra wide, curved form factor, in my opinion, outshines a monitor with the same features in a flat screen in 4K at 27”. This monitor is more expensive than some of those options, but when you’re talking about a price point of over $1000 for a gaming peripheral, the price difference might be negligible for you. So if you’re in the same dilemma as I was, that is my personal take on it, and I don’t regret the decision for a second. For reference, I watch UHD movies on a 55” 4K TV and have never once thought “man I wish the resolution on that monitor was twice as good (or even a touch better)!” Just because you have a GPU that can run smooth 4K, doesn’t mean a 4K monitor will give you a better experience 100% of the time. If you need to feel like you’re on the bleeding edge by having a 4K monitor thats totally legit but it’s a different argument. My final point on this: If this monitor were available in a 4K option for $500 more (and lets be real, it would be way more than that), I still would have gone with this model.Other features:HDR: After you play in HDR 1000, you can’t go back. You’ve been warned.Refresh Rate: Higher refresh rate than you will need. This is a good thing.G-Sync Ultimate. Man, it just works better than FreeSync and I’m sorry but it does. It’s hardware, not just software and it’s the difference between helping to reduce screen tearing And stuttering (FreeSync) and eliminating it entirely (G-Sync). This upgrade stresses out my GPU a little on some games on ultra settings compared to my old one (running a 2070 on this machine, I’m upgrading soon, chill), but G-Sync means it STILL runs smoother on this thing. It’s actually nuts. Whatever monitor you go with, shelling out the extra cash for a monitor with G-Sync is worth it.Curved Screen: This was also my first curved monitor, and I was more nervous than excited about it. Don’t be like me. Be excited. It’s awesome. The curve is just the right angle to be immersive but not distracting. Ultra wide is the way to go for gaming for sure, but it’s also underrated in productivity. If you’re working from home and in spreadsheet purgatory like me for a large portion of your day, having 3 windows open at once comfortably lets you escape just a little bit faster. And if that excites you like it excites me, I’m sorry, but at least you’re not alone. (Pro tip: for productivity turn off HDR and turn on the blue light filter so you don’t burn out your retinas).Construction: It’s put together pretty beautifully. The stand is rock solid and it’s a heavy beast, but that’s kind of what you want in a monitor this expensive. It also comes totally assembled out of the box which is a nice little bonus. It also has really convenient settings buttons (even a little joystick).Fixes: Some reviews state that the fan settings causes noise that is quite loud and annoying- at time of writing, this seems to have been fixed. I never noticed an issue (I do typically wear headphones while using this monitor). If you do, allegedly – recent and easy to instal firmware update solves this. I have installed the firmware update and haven’t so much as noticed the fan even when not using headphones and sitting 3 feet away from my monitor, or behind it. I would consider this issue solved. I’ve also seen some complaints about flickering screens; I haven’t experienced this at all.Cons (ish?):Expect to fiddle with color settings. I used the NVIDIA interface and found it to be pretty painless. This monitor has built in speakers. They’re fine for general productivity, but they won’t win any awards, that’s for sure. They make sound which is better than no sound and are loud enough for general productivity. They’re more of an added free bonus (compared to the ASUS model with the same panel). That is all I’ll say about them though. They are speakers.I notice some halos with bright colors on black screen. It is VERY noticeable when viewed from off/odd angles, but from straight on (the way a curved screen is meant to be viewed), you’ve almost got to be looking for them to find them. This is the only real con in my opinion, and it’s so barely noticeable I can’t say it has negatively impacted my experience in any way yet.Price. I lied, the price is another con. Not saying it’s not worth it- if you’re going to spend more than $1000 but less than $3000 on a monitor, this is probably one of the best options available, but it will still hurt to click “buy”. And if it doesn’t… well then why are you reading this- go buy an 8k TV and pick up a 3090 in a few weeks like the other rich kids, and send me one of each to boot!

  11. Patrick

This monitor provided sharp unmistakable views of my day trading career evaporating. Coming to your nearest pawn shop next month.

  12. Amazon Customer

A really good monitor for the price. NOTE – it does NOT have speakers.

  13. Jeremiah DavidJeremiah David

Monitor has been working great. No dead pixels on arrival.Color was just fine out of the box.Wasn’t to sure how much I would like an ultra wide curved as I was accustomed to 27″ displays, but it really grew on me.For me the big seller was IPS, 1440p resolution, and 180hz refresh. From gaming to working photos/video this has been a great monitor. Hope to get as many years out of this acer predator as I have my other 3.

  14. G.R.

I wanted to add a second monitor and they didn’t have the exact model I already had and this was the closest thing to it. It worked out good and the picture quality is pretty much the same as my other 27″ Acer monitor. I am happy with it and I hope it lasts a very long time!

  15. CUNext2sdayCUNext2sday

I am super pleased with this monitor! I got it on sale, but even at full price this monitor is a steal! I love the seemless edges. It is also very lightweight. Buy one!

  16. Loren

Got it for my partners birthday, they love it!

  17. Amazon Customer

This thing rocks, no dead pixels and no crazy backlight bleed. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely worth the money.

  18. Ms W

They are nice and a great value. One monitor is not as bright as the other. I’ve worked through the settings and nothing corrected. It’s not severe enough to return. Both are clear and sharp.

Love it and a lot of settings to mess with it to make it to your perfection !

Great resolution. Had for almost a year with no problem.

  21. Marta stachura

great monitor and the screen is perfect

  22. NoahNoah

Sorry I couldt lean back far enough to takr a picture of both, the screen on the left is my old main 27 inch gsync samsung rotated, this monitor is the best bang for buck actual gsync equipped monitor you will find at 1440p, unless you step up to the 1600p version which is slightly larger. This is the newest panel at time of review so make sure you dont get the sb or gs unless it is an extreme discount.

  23. Milk Milkins

This my first Gsync monitor and it is well worth the price. Dont get confused like me if your also a first time Gsync buyer. When enabling Gsync through Nvidia control panel make sure Gsync is enabled in the option and there shouldn’t be a 3rd option since it Native Gsync. I spent hours apon hours and even reset pc entirely thinking i needed that 3rd option box to be checked since it would not show up. I guess from a website i seen a native Gsync also did not have it while2 other different monitors that was, tested Gsync and compatible Gsync had the 3rd option of it. Also Gsync demo software if you use it and have gsync off you wont be able to use the gsync box in that program if that helps also.

  24. CRichCRich

We love our new Acer monitor. We were using a 17-inch portable monitor for our web conferencing station. We decided to upgrade the size and we could not have found a better model. The picture quality is excellent. We connected the monitor to a Celeron Mini-PC running Windows 11. The monitor connected instantly and no further settings were needed.A few things we like beyond the crisp picture include the easy button layout on the back of the unit, the easy to read and navigate on screen menus and the overall light weight. The stand also fits perfectly on our riser. We included a couple pictures for reference. Great no-fuss monitor.

  25. Scott Farris

Needed an extra monitor for my office, this worked out great

  26. HannooFX

I got the Acer X35 and took my chance knowing the flickering and fan issues others were complaining about, I was also aware that there is a firmware update earlier this year that resolved both those issues, but I was a bit skeptical and ready to be disappointed, my mind was set to get the Asus PG35VQ, but the Acer one is $600 cheaper than the cheapest PG35VQ I could find, so I pulled the plug and crossed my finger on the Acer. And boy oh boy, this screen is perfect, I can NOT hear any fan, I can’t even hear it when I try to listen for it near the monitor, I am not sure if I got lucky with this one or really the firmware completely eliminated the fan noise. No flickering issues either. Now to the picture quality, well if you need a monitor with high refresh and HDR, this is it, there is no other choice, I have tried HDR600 monitors (Samsung GH70 and newest IPS LG 38GN950) and one HDR400 monitor, picture in HDR doesn’t even come close, IPS screen are terrible for HDR, washed out picture no matter what if you game in dark room with any dark games like Resident Evil or Shadow of the Tomb Raider, blown out highlights in bright scenes, HDR400 and HDR600 are a joke, trust me I went through 3 of them, and not worth it, you better just buy a cheaper SDR only monitor and it will be better.Running 3440×1440 10bit RGB 4-4-4 144Hz, you can go to 180 or 200Hz but you will lose some color accuracy because of DP1.4 bandwidth limitation, for me 144Hz is plenty buttery smoothResponse time are great for VA panel, slight levels of dark smearing but that is expected and most of the time it is not noticeable at all.If you need to game in HDR with high refresh rate you really have 3 options, this Acer X35, its sister Asus PG35VQ for $600 to $800 more or the LG 48″ CX OLED, I know everyone says the LG 48″ CX OLED is cheaper and better..yada..yada..yada…but there is on big thing everyone is missing, if you need to game on the LG CX with 4K at 120Hz YOU MUST BUY one of the newest RTX 3000 series with HDMI 2.1 to get 4K120 and HDR 10 bit, yes you can run 1440p on the LG OLED but it won’t be nearly as sharp, and sitting far, then what is the point? So Now you are spending 1500 for TV + 500 for new GPU to get full benefit, then you paid MORE than just getting this Acer and stick with RTX 2080/Super/Ti or even GTX 1080 Ti will get above 100fps on most games at 3440×1440 HDR with Gsync. If you have the money, this is the best HDR gaming monitor PERIOD!

  27. Omar Garcia

    Very nice monitor

  28. Melissa Baker

I am not going to list all the features or quote Acer talking points. This monitor is expensive!!!! It is also amazing!!!!Some of the only “cons” posted by previous purchasers have been addressed by Acer since and I wanted to let people know since I had to gamble by ordering without knowing for sure that these things had been fixed but thankfully my gamble paid off. Specifically: A) flickering – has been completely addressed for me after installing the Acer firmware update – so this should not be an issue keeping interested buyers from purchasing. B) fan noise (more specifically the frequent high-pitched spin-ups even while idle)- has also been addressed for me after installing the Acer firmware update. This monitor does still have a fan and you can still occasionally hear it but it really should be a non-issue for most users and is no louder/more frequent than other monitors with G-sync ultimate. So without those two main “cons”, the only remaining con to consider is the cost. If you have the means, I highly recommend you get one.P.S. though it may not be widely advertised but the RGB can be set to ANY color by using software – just make sure you attach the included USB cable to properly use the software (something that wasn’t obvious or widely documented).

  29. T. Chargualaf

I got this on a sale so it was very worth it. Not going to win anyone over for high level gaming, but I needed it for work since my CIO hasn’t come through for me yet with an employer provided monitor.

  30. Carolyn

Perfect size, clear and easy to set up!

  31. shay mcbride

love it. it is great and great price. will buy from them again

    easy to set up

  33. Falconlx Falconlx

1000nit, 144hz, 10 bit ultrawide “true HDR” takes gaming to a new level! Explosions in BF5 are blinding. Fires burning in the middle of the night during Metro Exodus actually glow, words cannot describe how amazing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey looks in HDR! As for ultrawide Madden and NBA2k? Wow, to see WR’s on the edge and to fast break seeing more than just half court, I could never go back. It’s expensive, but if you want ALL of these features it is worth the price of admission. I have no regrets. Tip: although this monitor is capable of 200hz to get 10bit you have to stay at 144hz

  34. Amazon Customer

    Good picture quality. Good value.

  35. David Riddle

Easy to setup with my computer using an HDMI cable. I have a second monitor that I had to adapt with an HDMI to Display port converter.

  36. R. J. LHerault

Nice, light unit, easy to set up but the on/off button is in the back!. I’m still learning how to find it by touch.

  37. Buyer in USA

    Excellent display

  38. Dixon Hill

I got this for my WFH setup… I had 24in Monitors, but they had thick bezels and were two different brands and just looked different. So I had a Lenovo 27 from another setup, that we eventually upgraded to a 32in. So I took this Lenovo and compared specs with this Acer. They are identical. I had to use two different mounts to get them aligned right since the mounts are in two different spots. After a lot of work, I got them even. The display is great and looks just like my Lenovo. It was an open box and I got it for under 150! Granted it came repackaged in a GIGANTIC box it had everything in the box. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy another if needed!

  39. PatPat

This is a great gaming monitor! It comes with the power cord and HDMI to HDMI cord. It’s a 1080p display with a 100hz refresh rate. Just make sure you change your settings on your pc to utilize the 100hz refresh rate, per image.Overall, it’s a large computer screen that’s great for FPS games and gaming overall. Just don’t expect it to have the best image quality, as it’s a 1080p screen.

  40. Amazon Customer

This thing rocks, no dead pixels and no crazy backlight bleed. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely worth the money.

  41. Jacob J Agatucci

It’s a beautiful monitor and does exactly what it sets out to accomplish: provide stunning imagery in games and other video applications. The menu is well designed and easy to navigate and the build quality, overall, is solid. Not much to complain about here.On a side note: If you’re a Windows user and you’re having trouble with blacks looking terrible in video streamed through a browser, switch your video content consumption over to Edge. It’s the only browser that supports 1080p in Windows. I spent weeks trying to figure out why my streaming video sucked and switching over, as much as I did not want to, was the answer.

  42. Came as appears

  44. webster1766

I’m very happy with my purchase. The screen is big and bright (of course you can turn down the brightness). We don’t use it for gaming, so we wouldn’t know how it works with it.

  45. Kevin

It is bigger than my old one which is 23 inches. I found out I can see more columns on excel. Good for working from home.

  46. Matthew R.Matthew R.

I got this because my WFH setup space isn’t large enough to put dual monitors up. So this is a perfect solution for comparing documents without squinting or flipping back and forth between screens. It set up super quickly and the vesa bracket I already had for my old 24 inch monitor held it perfectly. It’s amazing what a difference a few inches can make when working from a laptop screen to a larger format. It’s pretty lightweight and the edge to edge screen makes it look very high end. 100% recommended! It comes with the tabletop holder and all the wires needed for setup.

  47. KccaseyKKccaseyK

I ordered this monitor to complete my screen setup for day trading and remote work from home. Setup was very easy and only took 15mins, including mounting. I was excited that this has built in VESA mount compatibility, keeping it simple for easy mounting without needing to purchase a separate mounting adapter. If you don’t mount by VESA, this still comes with a monitor stand. This is great for small spaces with the bezelless design, which helps keep the size of the monitor down, while still being able to maximizing display screen size. This no-frills monitor keeps the out of pocket costs down, while still delivering a solid display and viewing experience with AMD FreeSync, 1ms response time and 100hz refresh for gaming or watching high quality video. This also comes with a 3ft HDMI cable. There’s two video connections, an HDMI and VGA, as pictured. If you require more than one HDMI connection, like myself, you can buy an HDMI switch splitter like I did. They cost $10-$25 on Amazon and do the trick. Or you could spend another $50-$100 on another monitor that has it built in.There is no built in audio connection or speakers. This monitor is as described and expected. Other reviewers seem disappointed because they did not read the product description.Overall, this is a fantastic monitor for the price point with an excellent display.

Easy to adjust settings, great picture overall! This monitor really improved my workspace with it being an ultrawide! The blue light filter setting is a nice touch when sitting at the computer for hours at a time. AS far as gaming goes, this monitor blew me away, especially with having a nvidia gpu and utilizing the gsync feature. Will post an update in the future after I spend some more time with this beautiful monitor!

I love these monitors. We have 20+ of them configured in dual monitor setups. They’re great general purpose monitors for home office and office use. If I were getting a gaming monitor I’d go with beefier specs, but for basic day to day use these things have been workhorses. It has similar specs to the Acer KG271 with the same response time and pixel pitch, but at about half of what they’re going for on amazon as of the time of this review, and they look pretty much identical to the KG271 from the front so if you have the KG271 and you’re thinking about adding an additional monitor this might be the way to go.Nice monitor – especially for the price and I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

I’ll start off by saying that I was not expecting to like this monitor, but I ended up keeping it because of how good it is. Now if you’re looking for the fastest monitor at 32 inches, This one is probably not the best choice. If you’re like me and just want something for single player games mixed with a few multiplayer games once in a while, this one is perfect for that.I know there are cheaper options on the market, but the build quality is fantastic and having 4 HDMI 2.1 ports is really nice. The HDR is really good as well, I could see a little bit of blooming, but so far it’s been very minimal and doesn’t bother me at all. There was an issue on PS5 initially where a message saying “input not supported”, but after updating the firmware on the monitor, it fixed that issue and now the display works flawlessly. I will say that the auto input switching isn’t the greatest because it cycles through all inputs until it gets to the one you’re on, but it doesn’t bother me.For me this monitor is exactly what I’ve been looking for to hook up to my PS5, Series X, and pc, I’d definitely recommend it.

I got this on a sale so it was very worth it. Not going to win anyone over for high level gaming, but I needed it for work since my CIO hasn’t come through for me yet with an employer provided monitor.

  56. LashaLasha

No dead or stuck pixels.Backlight bleed it low which is awesome. (Camera picks it up badly) it looks way better in real.180Hz works great. HDR also looks decent but I don’t really use it.Factory calibration is nice and colors look accurate. I only adjusted brightness. I’m very happy with it. I think it’s the best UW 1440p 34″ IPS monitor at the moment.

Very thin frame, perfect picture and color, and a great size. My only minor gripe is that the mount is not height adjustable – but other than that – an excellent monitor

I’ve purchased 4 of these now. The first 2 I bought for my bosses office because he had two 22″ monitors. He loves them so he had me order another 2 for his home office. One set is on the supplied stands, the other set is attached to 100×100 vesa mounts. They have an HDMI port and a VGA port. The color is really good and for the price, you can’t really beat it for a name brand like Acer.

There is a firmware release around Jan that fixed the flicker and fan is more silent (not on off).Regarding the hdmi input, I can get 4K at 100Hz, or 1080p at 120Hz, this is on window pc.On ubuntu 16.04, I can only get 1080 60Hz, I’m not sure if this is nvidia driver issue or laptiop itself.displayport works at 4K 180Hz to 200Hz as advertise. If you need 2 displayport this only has one, I overlooked this now it is a problem…

I bought my X35 from Acer directly vs Amazon, but it is an amazing monitor. I paid $2,600 for mine and see that it’s cheaper off Amazon but I have zero regrets purchasing this monitor. The size is amazing , the picture is great, and it had zero dead pixels on arrival. This is the best monitor you could buy.

I needed a good monitor for when I needed to bring my work laptop home and work. This is big enough to fit 2 spreadsheets next to each other and easily compare. It’s not heavy at all thankfully because I sometimes have to carry it from room to room. The picture quality is great. I love this monitor and this brand has never disappointed me

I have a smaller second monitor of this same brand for my work. When my husband began working from home full time he borrowed my monitor quite often. He works with GIS software, so I got him a second monitor that is bigger than mine so working with maps is easier. I am pleased with my own from this brand, so I thought getting a bigger one from the same brand was a safe bet. It’s been great; he really enjoys it. The monitor itself sets up very easily. I just wish that it came with a HDMI double-ended cord since it is HDMI compatible. It doesn’t, but one of those cords is about $6 at Walmart. Overall it’s a great monitor and great for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

  88. Metal100

I am enjoying it so far. Was very easy to set up. If all you plan on doing is just some coding, typing, and a little research and a simple movie and game time to time, this monitor is perfect. It’s not design for gaming. Just Work related activities like viewing charts, typing codes ect. For the price, it is perfect. If it were for gaming, it wouldnt be so cheap.

Received it today. I was extremely nervous after reading some about some flickering issues to some early adopters. Especially that I live overseas, so shipping back and forth is not simply and/or cheap. So far tried Destiny 2, Anthem, Division 2 … all in HDR with zero issues. HDR works great. Destiny 2 in particular. If your Destiny2 looks dark in HDR, simply switch HDR off ingame, adjust the brightness (increase the slider) in SDR mode … apply ; then switch back to HDR. Adjusrt HDR white point only. Do NOT adjust HDR black level. Leave it in the EXACT middle. Destiny2 HDR mapping is taken directly from the brightness slider of the game in SDR mode. So adjust the brightness in SDR first, then switch on HDR and ONLY adjust the white point. IT WILL WORK!Monitor settings:I set my overdrive to normal. In nVidia control panel i set my refresh to 144hz (MORE THAN ENOUGH) with 10bit color, RGB, FULL.Monitor stand is quite large. I planned to hook it up to my existing wall-mount initially. Removed my 27″ QLED Samsung monitor, and plugged this one in it’s place. This monitor is HEAVY! the mount’s articulating arm couldn’t hold it up. So that didnt work. Currently looking for another wall mount.-No fan noise issues.-Local dimming is GREAT.-the MOST uniform monitor I have ever seen. Uniformity checked against a plain grey background . It is Extremely well handled.-

  92. C. Ambers

This is working really well for my desktop. It is about as big as I feel comfortable with. There’s a lot of area to look at and the image is crisp over it all. I also like that being a monitor it sleeps and such as the computer signals it to. My old 24″ HDMI TV didn’t do that. This is light years better than the old CRTs we grew up on.

Easy to assemble stand and it’s a beautiful picture. FYI it does NOT have sound.

  94. G. AdkinsG. Adkins

This is a good quality monitor at a decent price.Out of the box, it’s set to WARM color temp. I found the picture looks far better if you dial down the brightness a bit (default is 80, I set it to 70) and move the color temp from WARM to NORMAL. Then the picture quality is quite good. The stand is easy to assemble, it just clicks into the back of the monitor and also has a tool-less screw on the bottom to attach the base. The only weird thing I noticed – when I plugged it in, my docking station (Pluggable brand hooked to a Dell XPS 15) flipped the audio to this monitor, but it does NOT have audio capability. So be aware that you might have to flip your audio back to something different when you plug it in. No idea why the computer would think it has audio unless it reports that back to the docking station. It’s now my default monitor on my desk. Highly recommended.

I have a LG 34GP83A-B that I use for home office and Dell U3419w at the office but this Acer is a completely different experience. It has a great sounds quality, very sharp display with excellent color and no lags in games. The controls are easy to reach and adjust and its just feels lot more modern and sophisticated system compared to others I had tested. For this price, it is a bargain and the best monitor for 2021.

  96. jamo002

I bought this monitor as a Christmas gift. It was a big hit. The size is just right, not too small and not too big. Great for gaming. Picture quality is very good. Not as slim as some other models but very good none the less. Recommended.

We love it so far. My daughter uses it for school and her online gaming. Great quality.

I’m so happy I purchased this monitor. Worth every penny and arrived early. If anything changes I’ll come back and change this review. But I dont think that will be necessary. It has taken my game to the next level.

Got my hands on it and predator really out did themselves with this one. The coloring options are so nice and the 360hz feels super smooth. So many settings to play around with.

Prior to this monitor i was running a 4k monitor with a pretty low refresh rate for about 2 years. Have been patiently waiting for the x35 since it was announced many years ago and have been constantly checking their website since. Wow was i blown away with the image quality and the HDR, the image quality was not as good as the 4k monitor i had prior but with the addition of the HDR1000 and higher refresh rate this thing is far beyond any 4k monitor out there. It did take me a bit to get this thing dialed in properly but man was it worth every penny!! I have had some halo when HDR is on and there is an all black background, also regarding the fan i have noticed, oddly i only hear it when the monitor is off but my Pc boots up, for whatever reason it turns on and goes off when the monitor is turned on.

  104. Andrew Tarter

I’ve had the monitor about 3 weeks now, after I got tired of waiting for the PG35VQ. I was aware of the fan discussions and wanted to take my chances. I’d say about 20% of the time the monitor is on, it will do the rhythmic fan on/off. If its very quiet in the room, I do notice it, but its not enough of a problem for me to complain about it. Those saying it spins up to 100% and then off aren’t entirely accurate. I’d say it spins up to about 15-20% power. The reason I know this, is because every once in a while when I turn the monitor on, it spins up to 100% (maybe to clear dust or something). And THAT is loud, like jet engine for 5 seconds or so. If your fan is doing that speed regularly, it is broken and return it. But the fan on/off as it is, I don’t think its a big deal.As far as what really matters, the picture quality is outstanding. I leave the gaming mode to Normal with OC to ‘off’ for a max refresh of 180hz. The highest framerate I am getting in games right now is about 130fps anyway. The only flicker issue (another hot topic) I noticed was in the Witcher 3, and when I turned down sharpening in the settings it went away. I do not have Battlefield 5 so could not test that. Otherwise I’ve played a variety of games (Control, Gears 5, Metro Exodus, Anno 1800, They are Billions, AC Odyssey (briefly for testing), Division 2 (briefly for testing)… using an RTX 2080 Super and they all look phenomenal. HDR looks fantastic, and SDR games using the SDR backlight setting also look awesome. If you are reading this trying to decide on the best ultrawide, I wish you luck. I can say I am really happy with this purchase.

  105. BucksOnly

I bought two of these monitors for my remote work set up. I don’t use them for gaming, so I have no idea how they would be in that situation. For my need they are excellent, easy to adjust and allow me to open multiple pages and my cad files at the same time. Very happy with the purchase.

  106. Riley

This is a great monitor for home or office. I do not game so cannot comment on that. I purchased 3 of these on lighting deals. They are great monitors and on sale cost less than a 24″ monitor of the same brand and series. This27″ monitor greatly eases eye strain when working on documents, spreadsheets, or e-mails.

  107. Josue Solorio

Loving this monitor, has a good picture and has a nice design. Have used Acer products in the Past and love their Reliability.

  108. carlosmo

Hello e-boys and e-girls,I understand buying this monitor will leave an empty space in your bank account. Please consult with its feelings and emotions first before actually making the purchase. This is why I have decided to provide some of my thoughts before and after the purchase. Before purchase history:Initially, I was going to get a 4k + HDR 1000 monitor (Predator X27 or Asus PG27UQ) to upgrade my 10 year old 1080P monitor for current and upcoming games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. There was no stock available at the time I wanted to buy and that was when I came across the X35 version. I did some youtube research and found out I actually get more out of the X35 compared to my previous preferences.-Higher FPS (at least 144Hz with good HDR enabled) compared to X27 or PG27UQ (98Hz with good HDR).-More real estate value on screen size for work from home (huge benefit).-3440x1440p, given that this is the resolution 50% less than 4k, you will get more performance out of the current generation graphics cards.Another aspect I took into account before buying this monitor:-I have a 22″ deep desk. This monitor takes a bit more than half of my desk. Take your desk space into consideration as well because you might find yourself sitting too close to the screen. After purchase (2-3weeks of ownership):-Setting up the monitor was very easy. The screen was already mounted with the included stand. However, it was a heavy beast setting up on my desk. I know I am weak.-There is no calibration to be done because it is already calibrated for you. If you want to get 200hz refresh rate, you will need to active the overclock. I do not recommend this option because a friend of mine (Pezky, not really relevant) said that overclocks usually reduce the lifespan of any products. I do want this product to last. Furthermore, the highest default refresh rate is 180hz, I do not think the extra 20hz will make a difference.-I updated the monitor firmware right out of the box. After some testing, I did not notice any fan noise and flickering mentioned on other reviews.-VA panel, yes there is black smearing. I only noticed this when I was moving the Discord App window. It was apparent on the texts. I have not noticed black smearing on other applications. It is a detail that you will need to actually look for it to see the smearing. I want to say that this should not scare you but on the contrary, it is not an issue for gaming and work related tasks. Other reviewers have abused this to scare off people.-Keep Over Drive mode on “Normal”. Mine arrived with normal on. Turning it off or setting it at extreme will cause weird artifacts and ghosting.-HDR 1000 Vesa certified. The HDR is really good. Once you experience this, you will not want to see anything in SDR. Colors are very vivid and vibrant. Seeing a light source displayed on this screen is almost the same as looking at one in real life. It is very bright.Closing thoughts, I am currently running a GTX 1070, not even TI. Obviously, I need the upgrade. Ever since the RTX3080 was announced, I wanted to purchase it. So far, I am out of luck because I work regular hours. I do not stand a chance against botters and people who stay on top of it 24/7. I asked my friend Pezky (irrelevant) to help out but he is too busy playing LoL. Worst case, I will have to get a RTX3090 if I cannot get my hands on the 3080 before 9/24.

The buttons are on the side making it easy to access even if you have it desk mounted. The controls are easy to use when flipping through the menu selections. I have mine mounted with the Vesa mounts in the back but the base that came with it is really sturdy as well. The cable is just a straight 3 prong power so no need for those little transformer boxes that can go out. Over all I’m pleased with the purchase.I game and do graphics design so I needed a screen that was vibrant, low refresh, true to color, and affordable. This hit all those marks. No complaints other than the box came with a picture of the product on the outside making it a prime target for porch pirates.

  111. J. Peterson

I didn’t get this for gaming – instead, I needed a good-sized, reasonably-priced monitor that I could use for viewing my webcams on a computer that uses Blue Iris to control and display the cams. One of my other requirements was to be able to see the screen from various viewing angles – side to side, and up and down. This monitor does a great job for me on all of the above-mentioned aspects, and I’m very happy with it.

  112. Nasser H.

I lived abroad so I tossed my die for the last one offered in Amazon before it came “Currently unavailable”. Fortunately, I was lucky to get it defect-free, and yes the monitor is monstrous in every aspect a monitor can offer. Good job Acer!

Es muy lindo y elegante. Calidad precio.

  114. Colton Winkelman

Buy this over the Asus, $400 less for the same thing, albeit different factory screen coating. This costing is not too grainy and not too glossy, great in a dark room but not bad in a bright room.Biggest scare was the fan noise, but that is fixed with the firmware update.

  115. Robert Wimpee

Really good deal for the price. I ordered two for my setup. works great.

I bought two of these to upgrade off of a hodgepodge pairing of monitors I got through garage sales. After spending a half hour trying to get everything mounted (which is not the fault of the monitors), I have to say that I am pretty impressed.Pros:Very lightVery brightClear and crisp imageFor the price, you can’t beat itCons:Only comes with a VGA cable (come on Acer, what are you doing?), so you need your own HDMI (or in my case DP/HDMI) cablePower and Menu buttons are on the back, which makes them inaccessible when mounting two monitors next to each otherThere is this really weird 3D effect along the edges of the monitor. It’s not really noticeable during normal use, but it can be noticed if you look right at it.

  117. Jonathan Rojas

Bought two of these on prime day for my wife. She’s an accountant so she didn’t need a high end monitor for working at home. Easy to calibrate and works well with the laptop hub. Awesome quality for the price.

S vs GS: Now I’m sure the GS Gsync compatible (adaptive sync) works perfectly well, the S was the only decision for me. Having a dedicated Gsync module is absolutely worth the ~$50 premium it will cost us. I’m using EVGA 3080ti FTW Ultra and will only ever be using Nvidia GPU’s.Build: The stand is slick and sturdy, replacing it with a monitor arm would be a waste of money. The back/arm is ridged like a xenomorph with intuitive tilt, pivot and height functionality. Also, no more cringey red predator branding, the silver looks dope.Screen: Glorious curved 21:9, this is where your money is going. Pre calibrated out the box with perfect colors brought out by the newest IPS technology. 180hz, insanely low latency (.5ms wtf)- this thing was truly built for gaming. Conclusion: The best gaming monitor you can buy and the best Ultrawide for 2021/22.Side note: I did consider the Samsung g9, however, 32:9 is not widely supported for games and IPS is FAR superior to any VA panel.

  121. Grant HartleyGrant Hartley

This monitor is the best i have ever owned. EXCELLENT color, low response time and great picture quality. Also 10 bit color is available in only 144hz mode but usually with my 2070 super im getting around 80-100 depending on the game (150 on bf5). Only “con” is the excuse of HDR because as we all know the HDR400 mode doesnt require local dimming so the performance is laughable in most games, but overall i would rate this monitor a 4.9/5 only reason it isnt a 5/5 is because with the stand i am now required to get another desk. Also it is worth noting that out of the box it is tuned for srgb and i would highly recommend changing it to dcip3 in the osd much better color reproduction.Update 10/1/2021: Everything still works fine but i’m stuck with nVidia gpus ): i was going to upgrade to a 6800xt but it seems this monitor does not support it *sigh* proprietary solutions like this are very anti-consumer

I think it’s the best UW 1440p 34″ IPS monitor at the moment.

For almost a grand I would hope this monitor exceeds expectations, and it does! In my opinion 360 Hz is a must if it you’re a gamer. One of the best monitors I’ve ever purchased.
